Do I need to be good at grammar?

Of course it helps to be good at grammar but it is not essential, we have a grammar course that can give you all the knowledge you need when facing grammar but for those participants eager to get started it is also possible to start teaching with very limited knowledge of grammar and develop your knowledge over the first year.

Does the certificate expire?

The certificate doesn’t expire but realistically the longer you have been away from teaching the less attractive the certificate will be for employers so it may be a good idea to consider taking a refresher course.
