We offer weekend TEFL courses as a taster course, as initial certification or in combination with one of our online courses. Currently, we offer courses in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham and London, with partners offering courses in other cities.

Weekend TEFL courses are probably the best way to try out TEFL to see if it’s a good fit for you. A lot of people are apprehensive about teaching English, they are not sure they’ll be any good at it or they’ll like it. Weekend TEFL courses are the cheapest solution to get a TEFL experience before you dive in. Check out our article Why Weekend Courses Are Great.

Over 2 days you’ll get to learn some of the basics in TEFL teaching. Everything from lesson planning to controlling the classroom. It’s fun and interactive, you learn everything from experiencing from the perspective of the teacher and the student.

You also get your own mini language lesson to get an understanding how your students are likely to feel in TEFL lessons.
